Coffee production is very big business and there are four world leaders in the coffee trade that supply coffee for the millions of coffee drinkers.  Coffee is the third most popular drink nowadays after water and tea.  Brazil produced the most coffee during the period November 2009 to October 2010, producing 31.5 million 60Kg sacks.  Other countries are huge producers of coffee including Vietnam, Columbia and Indonesia.

Coffee has become so popular now and this is said to be due to a number of properties in a cup of coffee that humans enjoy.  It is widely known that coffee is a stimulant and also has some health benefits when drank in moderation.  There is also some evidence that coffee can increase short term memory, contains antioxidants and can prevent some diseases.  It is little wonder that coffee continues to be a popular drink and that production continues to increase in many countries.
